I get stuff from the States and the EU fairly regularly and the cost is fairly low. Provided a customs declaration is on the packet then there is no issue here with duty etc.

There is nothing inevitable or intrinsically correct — not in geographic, cartographic or even philosophical terms — about the north being represented as up, because up on a map is a human construction, not a natural one. Some of the very earliest Egyptian maps show the south as up, presumably equating the Nile’s northward flow with the force of gravity. And there was a long stretch in the medieval era when most European maps were drawn with the east on the top.
And anyway, it looks better balanced like this, and after Geomagnetic Reversal it will clearly be correct to those who believe north is up.

I do understand the image quality thing but the graphics here are 8 years old. There has been very little (none) work on graphics for cars or tracks apart from S3 stuff and Westhill.

LFS has no real graphics requirements, ( Ooooooohhhh, VR, need AMD480, Nvidia 970 +++++++++++) Whatever........ 
LFS is single core processor based ATM, pretty much any graphics card maxed out will work.
On a dedicated, XP system, a Pentium 3.4, 1 gig ram, with a good AVG card is fine with max settings at 1080 ......

My Summer Car
After 3 years of development My Summer Car is now on Steam greenlight.
"MY SUMMER CAR is the ultimate car owning, building, fixing, tuning, maintenance AND permadeath life survival simulator. You start the game with hundreds of loose parts and assemble both car and engine. Not only you need to maintain your car, but yourself as well. Sausages, beer and sleeping will do just fine.
If everything goes well, you have a working car which you can use for various 1990's Finnish countryside summer activities. Basically doing various stupid things under influence of alcohol. After you have gathered extra money from various random jobs, you can start to tune and upgrade the car with parts orderer via snail mail. You can turn the car into a obnoxious bass-boom disco machine.... or into a rally car to participate rally competitions... or just fix it into perfect factory condition. Of course car also needs to pass the inspection or you might get into trouble with police. "

Detailed driving simulation with Pacejka tire model.
Rallycross-style dirt track.
Extensive damage system, for parts dropping off and wear and tear.
Complete car build up from spark plug to full body tuning.
Engine simulation with changing damage and performance scenarios.

Does have graphics of some sort.
Car stereos with installable subwoofers.
Drunk NPC's.
Passing out and waking up in random place.
Ability to steal fuel.
